The goal is to reduce residual heat impact on hair after styling. The new technology is based on miniature liquid-cooling tubes integrated into the heating plates. These tubes, according to the manufacturer, work in parallel with the heating elements, dissipating excess heat. The result should be smoother, softer, and cooler-to-the-touch hair after use. This differs from traditional straighteners, where the main focus is solely on heating to achieve a straightening effect. The new Corrale CoolShine straightener, like its predecessor, retains flexible copper heating plates that adapt to the shape of the hair strand, ensuring even heat distribution and reducing the need for excessive heat. The cordless design, allowing the device to be used without being tied to an outlet, also remains the same. Along with the straightener, Dyson also introduced a new model of the Airsmooth brush dryer. Its feature is a bristle technology designed to prevent snagging and pulling of hair during drying and styling.
