Huawei continues to develop its HarmonyOS smart home ecosystem, introducing new devices and updating key solutions. At a recent technical meeting in Beijing, the company demonstrated its vision for the future of "human-machine-home-universe." The central element remains the "family brain" – a hub that controls the entire system. Interaction with it is now built on three directions: touch, voice, and "contactless" control via AI sensors. The latter, for example, is implemented in a new smart bed from Muji, which can adjust the firmness and softness of zones, as well as gently wake the user. This is a step towards more natural interaction, where technology adapts to the person, not the other way around. The new S7 RGB smart display with RGB-Mini LED backlighting promises improved color reproduction and brightness, entering a more accessible segment. The series of smart locks has been expanded with models featuring improved facial recognition and even palm vein scanning, which enhances security and convenience. Huawei claims that its smart home system has been leading the market for pre-installed solutions for new buildings for the fourth consecutive year, covering over 4500 compatible devices. These innovations are not just gadgets, but elements of deeper integration. A smart lock can now not only open the door but also initiate scenarios: turn on the lights, adjust the climate. The smart display, in turn, becomes the home security control center, displaying data from cameras and sensors. This makes everyday life simpler and the home more responsive. Ultimately, Huawei demonstrates how technology can become an unobtrusive yet useful part of daily life, making it more comfortable and safer.
